The Philippines has already proved its worth regarding how capable it can be in the area of Outsourcing. In fact, the Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPAP), Board of Investments (BOI) and the Commission on Information and Communications Technology announced that the Philippine Outsourcing Industry is expecting to generate 103,000 new jobs in 2006, a 44 percent increase from 2005.

The outsourcing industry is expected to have about 3.7 billion dollars in revenues this year, or a 52 percent growth over 2005. Information technology-related projects registered with the BOI have increased in 2005, and are projected to increase by over 50 percent in 2006. And even a report showed about 81,000 new jobs created in 2005, a 53 percent growth from 2004 figures.
The Call center sector still holds the biggest part among the sub industry that Outsourcing has but the remaining ones are also on the rise. To prove this, the Animation sector had announced how they expect the following growth, to sustain a 20 percent growth in total revenues over the next five years, 7,000 new jobs generated in the animation industry in 2006 due to the fact that 4,500 jobs were already given from outsourced animation work to the Philippines in 2005. Since this industry has already produce a 40 million dollar business, with the global animation outsourcing industry valued at 72 billion dollars.
Another sector who is participating in the race is the Software Development, who hopes to progress by creating 20,000 jobs for export in 2006 and the part that deals with the domestic market is projected to employ 31,000 people.

The Philippine governments continues to support the Outsourcing industry campaign through the Philippine Department of Trade and Industry, the Embassies, or a separate non-profit organization ordering that they should both espouse the benefits of free trade and the need for the United States to continue to innovate, retrain workers, invest in education and infrastructure, and put policies that encourage savings.
